Career and life transition coaching

When the Next Chapter Is Calling, but the Path Is Not Clear.

A new role, a career change, a layoff or a season that quietly changed what matters. Dr. Sarai Koo helps you see who you are becoming, decide what comes next and take the first real step with confidence.

  • Career change
  • A bigger role
  • After a layoff
  • Reinvention
  • A life change that reset what matters

You might be here if

Transitions Are Not Only About What You Do Next. They Are About Who You Are Becoming.

  • “I know something needs to change, but I cannot see what.”
  • “I have weighed this decision for months.”
  • “I do not recognize myself in this role anymore.”
  • “I was good at the old chapter. I am not sure who I am in the new one.”
  • “Everyone has an opinion about what I should do next.”
  • “I am afraid of choosing wrong, so I keep not choosing.”

Illustrative examples, not client quotes. If any of these sound like you, you are in good company.

A note from Dr. Koo

I Have Stood at a Few Crossroads Myself.

Growing up between two cultures. Moving from the classroom into leadership. Building something of my own.

Each time, the hardest part was not the decision itself. It was knowing who I would be on the other side of it, and trusting that enough to take the first step.

That is what we work on together. Not just the next job or the next plan, but the identity, purpose and confidence that make the next chapter feel like yours.

You do not have to have it figured out to start. You only have to be willing to look honestly at where you are.

What we work on

From Circling the Decision to Walking Into It.

  • 01

    What matters to you now

Get clear on the values and priorities that should guide this decision, not the ones you inherited.

  • 02

    Your real options

Lay out the paths in front of you honestly, including the ones you have not let yourself consider.

  • 03

Who you are beyond the title

Separate your identity from your role, so a change in one does not shake the other.

  • 04

    The first real step

Turn clarity into one concrete move, then learn from what happens.

What you can leave with

  • A decision you can stand behind
  • A clear direction for the next chapter
  • Confidence to move
  • A stronger sense of who you are

Every person's path is different. Coaching supports your decisions; it does not promise a specific result.

A transition story

“They've climbed to the top of mountains they didn't want to stand on.”

Adrian was told by the adults around him to give up on filmmaking for a stabler career. Through Project SPICES™, he found the courage to choose his own path, and years later he is still using what he learned.

“Through SPICES, I gained the courage to follow an atypical life path.”

Who is transition coaching for?

Professionals facing a career change, a promotion, a layoff, a reinvention or a life change that has reset what matters, and anyone who senses the next chapter is coming but cannot yet see it clearly.

What if I do not know what I want next?

That is a common place to start. Part of the work is clarifying what matters to you now and who you want to be, before choosing the path.

How is this different from career services?

Career services often focus on resumes and job searches. Transition coaching focuses on the decision itself and who you are becoming, so the next step fits the person taking it.

Can faith be part of my coaching?

Yes, if you ask for it. Faith-integrated coaching, including prayer and Spirit-led discernment, is offered only when a client chooses it. It is never assumed or required.

How long does it last, and what does it cost?

It depends on your goals. The length, how often you meet, the format and the investment are agreed in your scope before coaching begins.
